If it’s necessary and possible to perform good works and follow the rules to earn your way into Heaven, Jesus isn’t really needed. You can be your own Savior. The good news is that it isn’t possible and it’s not necessary. As Pastor Terry will remind us in today’s message, the Gospel of Grace reveals that the work Jesus did on the cross is enough and it’s the only work that is enough to secure our freedom from sin and our position as Children of God. That truth brings relief and joy to every heart that experiences it.
