The Church can’t separate its spiritual mission from the practical service our Savior demonstrated. If the only thing that mattered was our salvation from sin, Jesus could have come and died in our place and the job would have been done. But He lived here. He experienced what we experience and He resisted temptation. He dedicated His earthly ministry to teaching, healing, and serving those He came to save. As Pastor Terry will challenge us in today’s message, we’re called to fashion our lives after Him.
