Do you ever wonder why we're told to give? It's obvious that God doesn't really need anything from us. For, He's the God of the Universe! But as Pastor Terry teaches in today's message, the Lord instructs us to give for our sake. In His Infinite Wisdom, God knows how we tend to idolize money and material things. He knows we tend to live with a scarcity mentality and store up things here on earth. He wants us to give so that we can keep our focus on Him and on Heaven. God disciplines us to live for His Kingdom: have you made the Lord the first priority in your life?
