Pastor Terry discusses in today’s message the story of the golden calf and how the Israelites so quickly forgot about the one true God as they waited. Out of impatience and rebellion, they created a golden calf to worship in place of the Lord. Moses mediated between God and the people and He pleaded for the Lord to judge him instead of the Israelites. Despite Moses’ plea, he was still only human and only a perfect sacrifice would do… This story points to Jesus and our need for Him, the one true God who gave the ultimate sacrifice to atone for our sins.
