Saul of Tarsus. Hebrew of Hebrews. Staunch defender of the law. He had incredible power, influence, wealth, and great advantage. When God got a hold of him, however, he counted it all as useless. And, as Pastor Terry explains today, he deeply regretted his zeal to know and protect his religion. Originally, as Saul, his goal was to completely exterminate any threat to his Jewish religion and position. Yet, when God transformed him to Paul, he began to live for the real gain – knowing and loving his savior Jesus.
