This world holds so many distractions. We may spend hours a day swiping or clicking through page after page, filling our shopping carts, or dreaming about the next big thing; the next car, or house, or vacation. As Pastor Terry explains in today’s message, those things are not inherently bad, but if they take precedence to our relationship with God, they have become an idol. They can severely inhibit us from living the abundant life that Christ desires for us. When we let go of those things and pursue Him with everything in us, we will find fulfillment and joy that we didn’t know was possible.
