Early Jewish believers in Jesus were rejoicing that so many gentiles were being saved. But, they were still submitting to the old religious Jewish life and trying to force new believers to as well. However, as Pastor Terry teaches today, Paul and the early church realized early on that because of Jesus’ sacrifice for sins, you are saved by grace. There’s no need to be a slave to the law that couldn’t save. But instead, you should love God, believe in Jesus, and live in devotion by the power of the Holy Spirit.
