From a human perspective, there is nothing more final than death. As we continue on in our study of Mark, we encounter the story of Jairus losing his beloved daughter. No parent ever wants to imagine losing a child. It’s absolutely heartbreaking. But to Jesus, death is seen as weak and temporary. As Pastor Terry encourages us in today’s message, when we find ourselves in moments of desperation, where it seems like there is no hope, we need to rely on Christ. Nothing is impossible for Him. He is capable of healing our bodies and even reversing the grave.
