Unfortunately, over the centuries many have sought to manipulate the Christian Church for personal gain – oftentimes power or money. False teachers have risen and led many astray. But, as Pastor Terry points out, this tragedy was occurring when the Bible was written. Peter warns about it in his second letter. So, Pastor Terry leans into Peter’s warning today and shows us how we can identify and respond to false teachers, who will inevitably and tragically attempt to force their influence on the Church.
