As traumatic as the storm on the Sea of Galilee was for the disciples, it was a necessary part of their journey to understand who Jesus was. They were able to catch a glimpse of the magnificent scale of God’s power in that moment. As Pastor Terry explains in today’s message, nobody wants to go through a storm in life, but it is in contrast to the darkness and fear that we experience in those storms that the peace and power of Christ can shine it’s brightest. In those moments we can learn what it means to fully rely on Him and to witness His provision and protection at work.
