The Bible has much to say about the words we speak. We often give little or no thought to the things that we say. We take for granted that our words are not offensive, because “we have good intentions”. But much harm can be avoided if we would just take a moment to consider the possible effect our speech will have on others. In today's study from the book of Proverbs, Pastor Terry relates the power of the tongue and the many ways the Bible views its use. Like almost everything in life, it can be used to bring pain and division, or it can impart great blessing.
