King Saul was not content in the Lord, and that led him to become extremely jealous and hateful towards David. You can't be envious of someone and yet still claim to be content. Those two can't coexist together, you're either thankful and content with what God has given you, or you're not, and your eyes wander onto what other people have. When you're content, you can see clearly the plans God has for your life.
