In today’s message with Pastor Terry, we learn how the story of Abraham points us to Christ. Abraham was instructed to sacrifice his only son Isaac and out of faith, he obeyed. He was about to make the sacrifice when God stopped him and provided an offering. Just as God provided an offering for Abraham, He also provided a sacrifice for us. Unlike Abraham, God’s son Jesus would not be spared, He was the sacrificial lamb to atone for our sins. Don’t take His love for granted, it is a gift that God has given us so we can spend eternity with Him. What an amazing love!
