The Bible tells us that there are times when God allows us to experience hardship because it reminds us that we need Him and that His grace is sufficient. After wrestling with God, Jacob lived the rest of his life with a limp. While many people may hear this story and see God as cruel, Pastor Terry argues today that Jacob’s limp in itself was a blessing from God. It would serve to remind Jacob every day of his need for God. This injury humbled Jacob and put him in a position to receive God’s blessing for his life.
