Too often we allow materialism of this world to distract us from what is most important. In today’s message with Pastor Terry we hear about the mysterious King Melchizedek, whose name literally means King of Righteousness and peace. He was the first priest seen in the Bible and is viewed as a precursor and representation of Jesus Christ. The King of Sodom on the other hand is a representation of the enemy, he tempts Abraham by saying “give me the persons and keep the goods for yourself”. Pastor Terry discusses Abraham’s response to both good and evil here in Genesis and how we should also react to the temptations of this world.
