In his later years, John was exiled to a distant island. Though there was no reason for him to expect any more work for Christ. He was open to it, and still holding church to praise God. Today, Pastor Terry shares with us Revelation 1, in which Christ comes to see John. The Jesus that John sees that day, is no longer a humble servant carpenter, but is instead a Holy God, with great garments, eyes of fire, and feet of bronze. We learn that we must always be ready to be put to work by God, and that though Christ was once a humble servant, he is now our great protector.
