Jesus’ earthly ministry only made up a small fraction of His life on earth, and we know very little about the rest of His 33 years in the flesh. While we may be able to speculate based off of historical context and clues, those years are largely a mystery. As Pastor Terry continues our study of the book of Mark, we come to the beginning of Jesus ministry. We may not be able to fully understand the timing, or why Jesus, the Son of God, needed to be baptized by His cousin, John, but the journey to understanding is a vital part of our lives as Christians. God will reveal Himself in new ways as we seek Him through His Word.
