Amos was a man of no education, no fancy upbringing, and no notoriety surrounding him. But he was a man of great character and a hard worker. God used him to take a message to a land where Amos was not even from. And Amos did not argue. He went where he was led and shared the word of God in that land. In today’s message, Pastor Terry teaches us that the name Amos means “burden bearer.” What a fitting name for someone who had the burden of the Lord put upon him to take a message to a nation.
