Paul was a pretty good father. He considered himself responsible to stay in relationship with the churches birthed by his ministry. He wrote many letters to these Christians while he was in prison. It’s interesting to consider how much or how little he might have known about the impact these letters would make on the history of the church. As Pastor Terry reads Paul’s letter to the Philippians, we’re encouraged to fulfill those things he penned to the early church. As we progress by bringing the gospel to the world in our present day, let’s continue to grow in this love.
