Divorce was one of the most controversial topics of the day in ancient Israel during the earthly ministry of Christ. From which spouse one would be united with in eternity to whether or not divorce was even kosher, divorce was just as controversial as it is in the Church today. In today's message, Pastor Terry reflects on one of the public traps that the Pharisees tried to set on Jesus regarding divorce. In our study, we learn that while it might be easy to take the law regarding divorce out of context, God always meant for a husband and wife to reconcile their issues.
