In today’s message with Pastor Terry, we hear about the battle between Joshua and the Amalekites. As they fought, Aaron and Hur went to the top of a hill with Moses. As long as Moses held his hands up to God, the Israelites would prevail. When Moses felt tired, Aaron and Hur helped to support him. Just as they banded together in unity, we too should come together in prayer with our brothers and sisters in Christ. The New Testament tells us in Matthew, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them”… God gave us with the communities we are in for a reason, to be a blessing and to lift each other up.
