Christ was born in what the Bible refers to as, “the fullness of time.” Pastor Terry goes on in his message to put historical relevance to this statement meaning that Christ was born into the perfect cultural, spiritual, historical, and political climate for the gospel to be accepted and spread quickly. While we may not understand why God chooses to do things the way He does, his plan is always perfect. We may not have had Christ be born in a lowly stable, but without this divine plan and timing, the word of God would surely not have been as impactful as it is to this day.
