In a culture of personal goals and self-help books, Jesus urges us to put the most important aspirations first. As Pastor Terry shares in his message, God wants us to be full time disciples, yet we often fit Christ in as a last resort. Christ says that if we put Him first, then all other aspects of our life will fall into the appropriate place. This is not natural in our environment, so it must be fostered through thinking and acting on the things of Christ. Although challenging, Christ is looking for “all-out” Christians who put their priorities in the correct order.
