Because of Christ, we're given a very different outlook on what it means to be successful in our world. Christ came and told us that to win is to lose, and to lose is to gain. He told us that whoever desires to be first must become a slave. This is very challenging for us as Christians in a world that doesn't value these things. Today, Pastor Terry teaches that greatness in the Kingdom of God is servanthood. It's what we should aspire to be everyday. So the question becomes: are you clinging to the life the world promises or have you surrendered your life in order to gain it?
