Who likes to obey? Most of us prefer just to do what we want, and maybe – maybe – if it works in our favor, we’ll follow the rules. This disdain for authority, especially God’s, comes directly from our sinful nature. The commands God gives are given out of love and wisdom, yet so often we test them to the limit, seeing how close we can get to the edge without falling off. As Pastor Terry will encourage us in today’s message, if you commit to obey God, you can expect a life full of spiritual blessings and peace.
