The Bible say's that the criteria to be a deacon and serve tables in the early church was that they had to be faithful and have a good reputation in the Church and outside the church. As a Christian the worlds eyes are on you, looking to see if there truly is something different about you. Being faithful and loving is the best way to open the door to preach the Gospel to the lost.
