Jesus was fully God and fully man. Scripture makes it clear that man can’t behold God in His full glory – it’s too much for us to bear in our broken, sinful state. It’s a measure of His grace that He withholds His full radiance from man. As Pastor Terry will explain in today’s message, this was part of the miracle of Jesus. God contained all of Himself in the form of man. As we look at the transfiguration account in Mark, we’ll witness a mysterious and glorious event where He pulled back some of that veil.
