The story of Jesus and the woman caught in adultery is a pivotal moment for anyone reading the Gospels. We’ve seen Jesus do miracles by healing the sick and feeding the masses, but this is a story where Jesus heals someone’s soul, not their body. Pastor Terry wants us to be aware today that the woman in this story is a victim of the religious leaders of her time. While we are mandated to preach the Gospel, we must not let the power we are entrusted with be used as a weapon against God’s children.
