Without Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, you and I wouldn’t have the hope of salvation! We’ve learned that because of our sinful nature, we belong to the kingdom of Satan. But Pastor Terry encourages us to accept Jesus’ gift of forgiveness, because that is what allows us to become citizens of God’s Kingdom! We are no longer identified as citizens of the world; we become citizens of Heaven! That citizenship cannot be bought or earned; it can only be received freely by accepting Jesus’ gift of salvation.
