As described in Leviticus, God’s people were to follow scheduled feasts throughout the year, dedicated to the Lord. As God’s people dedicated the first of their harvest to God, it also served as a pledge to the Lord in anticipation of a greater harvest to come. Although you are not required to participate in these types of ceremonial feasts now days, it would benefit you greatly to seek and understand their meaning and the truths behind them.
