Description

Jesus became shame for us. He took every shame and every sin upon himself when he was lifted up on the cross. When the writer of Hebrews talked about running our race he said we need to look to Jesus, who “endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” When we need a reason to continue to run this race, to throw off everything that hinders us, we can look to Jesus. When everything becomes too difficult for us, we can look to the cross.
