Jesus didn’t agree with or affirm the lifestyles or religions of everyone He interacted with. In fact, He seemed to make a point of stepping outside of His cultural and religious circle to reach out to those who were living in ways that directly opposed the religious mainstream. As Pastor Terry challenges us in today’s message, as we follow Jesus, we need to treat all people with love and respect. It doesn’t mean we have to approve of their religion or life choices, but we need to look upon them with the same grace and compassion that God has extended towards us.
