Jesus can do anything. He is all-powerful. But, as we examine today’s passage with Pastor Terry, we are challenged to ask why Jesus didn’t do any miracles in His hometown of Nazareth. Scripture tells us he could not do any works there because of their unbelief. Jesus certainly had the capability to shock and awe them with miracles, but that’s not what they wanted. They didn’t want Him. They were a cold, spiteful crowd who had made up their minds about Jesus. As we encounter Him, how are we receiving Him? Is it with a cold heart or an open, welcoming one?
