Today, Pastor Terry asks us to remember and fully embrace the fact that as followers of Jesus, we will sometimes face persecution! We need not be discouraged by this fact, however. We know the truth of Jesus’s life, death on the cross, and resurrection from the dead that forever forgives us of our sins. When we live lives dedicated to this truth, it will be natural to share where our hope and joy comes from, even when we face persecution! Jesus will give us strength to keep living for Him, and will ultimately be responsible for the change of heart in those who disagree with us!
