In John chapter 17, Jesus prayed for His people. The Lord prayed specifically that that we would be sanctified. In today’s message, Pastor Terry teaches us that when something is sanctified, it is set apart for special use. As Christians, the Lord has set us apart for God’s special use. The Lord’s people are to be in the world but not of it. God’s people are to be preserving salt in a world where people are perishing. Christians are to be light in a world filled with darkness. In short, Jesus prayed that we would be sanctified for His use so that we might be administers of the Gospel of grace.
