In today’s message, Pastor Terry brings us to a passage where Jesus compares us to branches on a vine. Jesus Himself represents the vine, and we are simply extensions of Him, bearing the fruit that comes from His message of hope and grace. God, the keeper of the vine and branches, is a meticulous and loving caretaker. He takes the time to trim the dead parts of our branches away, allowing us to grow more deeply connected to Jesus’s message. The care God takes in shaping us and pruning us is proof that He loves us deeply, and wants us to be the best we can!
