Not all of us will play the role that Pastor Daniel details in today’s message on the life and ministry of William and Catherine Booth, who founded the Salvation Army. They weren’t seeking worldwide success or renown. They were seeking to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a genuine way, both through preaching the Word and by demonstrating it in how they lived and treated the lost. God moved in a big way through them, and the Salvation Army grew beyond their humble expectations.
