We cherish our friendships because the very nature of friendship is one of intimacy and closeness. It is filled with the trust and comfort that come with a freedom to be ourselves. In today's study, Pastor Terry emphasizes the necessity that is pressed upon us in scripture to choose our friends wisely. Sharing thoughts and ideas, experiences and laughter with someone can be a wonderful thing. But we must be able to discern where those thoughts may lead, how that experience might end and if that laughter is appropriate. Our friendships will shape us, will change us, for good or ill.
