God gave us the Bible as a tool to get to know Him better. The Old and the New Testaments are both relevant to us today. We can glean truth, learn from others’ mistakes, understand the character of God better, and realize our full potential when Jesus is our Savior. Throughout the Bible, we learn about Israel and how it is God’s chosen nation. However, as Pastor Terry points out in his message today, there are many parallels between the nation of Israel and the nation of America. Is America under the blessing of God? We need only look at the pages of Deuteronomy to answer this question.
