The book of Hebrews is actually a letter to a very tight-knit community of Judaism. Within this community, it was very common for them to worship the saints from the Bible instead of Jesus himself! People who worshipped Jesus were actually ostracized from the group, losing their friends and sometimes even their families! But that didn’t stop them, did it?
