When Jesus made this promise, what did He mean? Who was He making it to? There are thousands of promises in the scriptures and they cover a variety of types. Most were from God to man, some were from man to God. But as we look around the world today, it is hard for us to imagine that anyone is doing greater works than Christ did. How often do we hear of anyone walking on water or restoring sight to the blind or raising the dead?
