Your job as a Christian isn’t just to avoid sin and learn more about God through prayer and Bible reading. You should commit yourself to live in a way that glorifies God, but not just to secure your place in His Kingdom – that’s not how it works. He already secured your place through Jesus’ death on the cross. Pastor Terry will remind us in today’s message that we should live a righteous life out of gratitude and also to be a better witness to the world around us of the transformation of the Holy Spirit.
