In our society, few of us are familiar with agriculture. Through the last one hundred and fifty years, we’ve transitioned to rely on commercial, industrial farming. Because of this, many of us hear Jesus’ parable of the sower and miss its impact. As Pastor Terry will explain in today’s message, this story would have shocked its original listeners. Not only does it portray the state of our hearts and their readiness for the Gospel, but it stresses the sheer power of the Gospel and what it can do in hearts that are ready for it.
