Nicodemus was one of the most respected religious men of his time. He was a good man. He was an extremely devout Jew who was seeking out the truth of God. Today, Pastor Terry visits a night in which Nicodemus met to talk with Jesus. That night Jesus told Nicodemus that unless born again, he would surely not see the kingdom of heaven. This was a bold statement to a man whom had so rigorously adhered to religion. Through these words we find the profound reality, that God does not judge you by your religious deeds, but simply by whether or not you accept Christ.
