We all love spiritual mountaintops. When we experience a great victory in an area of our lives, it feels like God is closer to us than ever. In those moments, we may question why we ever doubted Him or gave into temptation in the past. As Pastor Terry warns in today’s message, it is in the time following that spiritual high that we may be at our most vulnerable. We often let our guard down, or perhaps feel a sense of misplaced confidence in our ability to resist and Satan takes full advantage of that opportunity to hit us with intense temptation and trial.
