In many religious movements, a man or woman may be seen as the necessary catalyst for its success and growth. Some people may look at Chuck Smith as that catalyst for the Calvary Chapel movement – the truth is… and Chuck made this clear in his own words – Jesus is the only necessary architect for this movement. He could have used anyone, but as Pastor Peter will point out in today’s message, Chuck was a humble, willing participant and God did amazing things through him.
