Our culture values children more than many ancient cultures did. Children were loved, but sometimes seen as more of a burden in an already challenging existence. For Christ to come along and welcome little children into His presence and spend His precious time on them went against the common way of thinking. As Pastor Terry will explain in today’s message, Christ’s care for the little ones was an example of how we should treat children as well as the spiritually young and vulnerable.
