Conceit and pride don’t have a place in the Christian’s heart. One of the first steps towards becoming a Child of God is to humbly admit that you’re weak and sinful. Even after you initially get saved, pride in your self-righteousness can easily slip back into your heart. As Pastor Terry will challenge us in today’s message, it’s vital that we maintain a humble perspective. We are nothing apart from Christ. It’s His work alone that saves our souls and sets us apart for His purposes in this world.
