In today’s message from the book of Genesis, we continue examining the life of Joseph. Joseph’s brothers had grown so jealous and resentful of their father’s favorite son that they were murderous. The brothers plotted to kill Joseph by throwing him into a pit to die. Pastor Terry points out that of all the low moments in Joseph’s life, being betrayed by his own family in such a vile manner had to have been the lowest. However, even after such treatment, Joseph never lost his faith in God’s goodness. Through trial after trial, Joseph’s character never failed.
