They turned away from the incredible blessings their Creator was providing, all for temporary pleasure. Today, rebellion continues. You see it everywhere – people turning to temporary happiness even when they know a better way! Just as the Israelites needed to repent, so too do God’s children now – we need to come back to the Lord!
